Papua New Guinea doesn’t need copy and paste...
Angels Of-Change 11:33am Sep 26

Papua New Guinea doesn’t need copy and paste consultants from overseas to fix our problems. We are the change we have been waiting for.

To dispel the notion from Susan Merrell that our Facebook Poll is a worthless poll, we know she said that out of pure ignorance or without knowledge of what will be happening in the months and years ahead. The intention is to create awareness and galvanise attention from the PNG public as a constituency on Facebook. That we have accomplished.

Angels of Change has established the National Identity Onus Network (NATION) as a not-for-profit, peer-to-peer network. The NATION creates an open ecosystem of like-minds and provides a “lift” for individuals and groups to raise awareness, galvanise attention, mobilise action, connect with and win the hearts and minds of Papua New Guineas – all for the good cause of creating a modern national identity and accomplishing “nationhood” by departing from symbols of Westernisation.

Read on to find out about an upgraded Poll to run nationwide on the Digicel network. This is work in progress with Digicel.

Soft launch and execution (from Sept 2012):

1. Facebook – in execution phase
2. Mass email – March 2013
3. Website (www.angelsofchange.me) – work in progress

Major launch and execution (from Sept 2013)

1. National MPs Debate Dinner
2. Digicel SMS Poll
3. Advertisements in newspapers, tv and radio
4. Presentations & Rallies in Port Moresby

SMS POLLS¬ – Don’t pray and spray but play to win.

For YES – Dial 611*1# send

80 election petitions has seriously undermined the office of Electoral Commission! How does one judged the success of the General Election? It’s not just about getting people voted …. it’s also about making sure it was done fair and free …….

PUNDARI BUILDS TWO MORE PARALLEL ROADS TO ABANDONED SAWMILL STATION: A
COMPLETE WASTAGE OF GOVERNMENT FUNDS

Kompiam Ambum MP, MR John Pundari who is now the Environment and
Conversation Minister decided to commit funds to building two more parallel
roads leading to an abandoned rural sawmill station last year. The station
known as Kaipores happens to be the MP’s home place which is passed through
on the existing road to Kompiam. The MP however decided to spend district
funds in building the two extra roads parallel to the existing one while
the old road is poorly maintained in most sections except for the part that
passes through his home territory.

The two new roads being built do not pass through any population centers or
resource base where the road development could be justified. The roads are
however being built on lands belonging to strong supporters of the MP and
is cutting through remaining tribal reserve forests and burial grounds.
Photos taken of the roads are causing a stir in the Kompiam Ambum FB Forum
and even the MP’s own daughter (FB name Haddassah Armando Christian Perez)
has come to the rescue, making rather unpopular remarks using offensive
words and foul language.

(Attached is one the photos that attracted the discussions and also link to
the group. Also a copy paste of the discussions below as well)
